LIVE SOUND FOR ARTISTS, BANDS, & EVENTS
Nigel Haye has been able to apply the material learned throughout his music production degree from Elmhurst University at rapid rate. Working as an A/V media assistant at First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, as well as an A/V contractor for the Gorton Center in Lake Forest, all areas and genres of live sound are covered under his management. This includes, but is not limited to: live sound for events, shows, recording sessions, and more.

- A/V Contractor at Gorton Center, Lake Forest IL - I have recently joined the theater team at this venue to assist in the live sound and lighting production of bands, comedy, movies, and musicals.
- Freelance MC and Live Sound Engineer for Open Mic at Hot Pockets Sports Bar, Palatine IL - From January through April of 2026, I hosted an open mic at Hot Pockets, providing strong crowd involvment, participation, and venue sound quality.
- A/V Media Assistant at First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights - for the past year, I have been working almost every Sunday morning to help stream and mediate A/V needs for worship services, funerals, conferences, and other events in the sanctuary.
- Student Production Services at Elmhurst University - I helped in the recording and/or streaming of numerous student recitals, band, orchestra, and jazz concerts during my time at Elmhurst, and frequently taught newer students how to work the A/V equipment.
- President of songwriting club at Elmhurst University, SEMFA - (Student Entertainment Music: Fine Arts) songwriting club at Elmhurst University, and began setting up small makeshift sound setups and recordings for the first time.
